How long until I can put down my windows?

We recommend 48 hours unless otherwise instructed

What is the darkest, legal tint?

Queensland State law allows 35% combined film and glass together on the front two doors and 20% combined film and glass together on anything behind the driver’s door.

Why does my fresh tint look streaky?

Observe your window films from 1 to 1.5 meters away, look through the tint, not directly at it. Your new tint requires up to 30 days to fully cure. During this time your windows may appear hazy, or streaky, There may also be small water pockets caused by the moisture that is remaining between the film and the glass. Do not squeegee, prod or poke thes pockets or water blisters. The water pockets, or streaky appearance will disappear as the remaining moisture dissipates and your new tint cures completely.

How do I clean freshly tinted windows?

The best way to clean your tinted windows is by using a good quality microfiber cloth and water. DO NOT use any products that do not say "Safe for Tint" Products that do not say Ammonia Fee cdould react to the chemicals used in the film and cause the tint to become hazy or blotchy. Using these products would void your Warranty.

Why are the edges not uniform?

Most cars have a ceramic "frit" edge on the rear window. Sometimes this ceramic edge is straight and flat, but sometimes it will ahve a dotted edge. These black ceramic dots are quite thick on the glass and may prevent the film from sticking to the glass that is between the dots. This can result in whitish looking strip trimming the edge of the glass. Typically this isn't very noticable: however some cars have a wide band of dots trimming the top of the rear window. This area may look less than perfect and most of the time will not have a uniformed appearance.

What windows are included in a standard installation?

A standard quote or installation includes all windows with the exception of the Front windscreen or any Sunroofs, Moonroofs or Panaramic roofs.

How to pick the best installer for my new tint?

When looking for the best installer to entrust your home or car with, we always recommend you look at reviews of the shop as well as the brand of products the installer recommends. Window tint is not a certified trade, it is a craft that only years of experience and knowledge can ensure the best possible outcome. Another way to ensure that you hire a trusted professional who has made a commitment to comply with all Australian Standards and State/Territory regulations is to look for an installer that is a WFAANZ member.

Will my Warranty be void if my vehicle isn't tinted at the dealership?

Window film can be installed at any time by a trusted professional out side of the Dealerships.
